Real Life This Time

Not that what I haven't written previously hasn't reflected real life, just that it was fiction, whereas this will be about stuff that actually happened. :D

On Friday I went to Panera and to the Chattanooga McKay, which is like a den of temptation for me, seeing as it's full of secondhand (or third or fourthhand) books, movies, and music. Suffice it to say, some money burnt a little hole in my pocket. It's basically right around the corner from campus, but the last time I went before Friday was last year's Spring Break. You heard me. I hadn't been there for a year (den of temptation, remember?).  Brooke also had a dinner and vespers over at her place. We had great soup, great conversation, and a great vespers. It was lots of fun!!

On Saturday night, I went to Five Guys for the first time ever. Very good food. A little pricey, but the amount of food and the quality of the food made up for those few extra dollars. Then we (a group of English major people) went to Books A Million and then to Barnes and Noble. All in all, a good two days.

Today, I went to the Village Market, exercised at Hulsey, and did laundry. Interspersed with all that was watching the first season of my new favorite television show: Castle. I borrowed the DVDs for the first two seasons from my work supervisor (yeah, she's that cool), and I've already watched the first eight episodes. I really like the characters (and though Castle is the main character, I think I like Beckett even more--maybe there's something about her that I identify with or something) and I really like the dialogue. Snarky dialogue always gets me--and now I have to get through the rest of Season 1 so I can watch Season 2 and then watch Season 3 online. Oh yeah.

I also have plans to go through my clothes and books and to practice this week. All in all, good spring break thus far.
