Before (and after) the Deluge

8-9-09

Location: EAA Grounds, Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Status: about to be flooded with thirty thousand people tomorrow
Mood: Excited (though very tired)

Yes, tomorrow the campers arrive (some already have). Anyway, that's the before of the deluge. We're busily finishing up all we can--and it's ten pm, and I can still hear the actors going through their dress rehearsal (even though I'm at least half a mile away).

The after is the fact that we had a rip roaring thunderstorm on Friday night--there had to be some cleanup, especially on the stage, this morning. The thunder made the tents we stay in shake. All I worried about was whether or not the floor (the grass) stayed dry, and it did. Happy me.

More as I feel like it.
